A cockpit recording of dialogue between the two pilots of the Air India flight that crashed last month indicates the captain cut the flow of fuel to the plane's engines, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.

Air India has announced a phased resumption of its international wide-body flight operations starting August 1, following a voluntary “safety pause” initiated in the aftermath of the tragic Ahmedabad–London Gatwick air crash.

Starting August 1, 2025, Air India will gradually resume services and increase frequencies on select international routes. A full return to the pre-pause schedule is targeted for October 1, 2025.
