The Houston Texans were the first to announce their donations on Saturday, July 5, with more coming throughout the week. The Dallas Cowboys and the NFL Foundation joined the Texans on Sunday, July 6, with each contributing $500,000 in a $1.5 million total donation.

The Cowboys are one of multiple Texas teams to issue statements on the devastating flood on the Guadalupe River.

Professional sports teams and leagues combined to provide millions of dollars in donations to those impacted by the devastating and deadly floods in central Texas, which thus far have killed at least 95 and left dozens more unaccounted.
