Daniel Serafini was found guilty of several charges, including first-degree murder and attempted murder after hiding in his in-laws Lake Tahoe home and attacking them in 2021.

Day 1 of the 2025 Draft included the Twins' picks from Rounds 1-3, including Marek Houston at No. 16 overall. Day 2 begins Monday at 10:30 a.m. CT through the conclusion of the Draft, spanning Rounds 4-20.

Day 1 also saw the Twins pick Delmon Young's power-hitting nephew and two big, hard-throwing college right-handers.

Houston was selected out of Wake Forest by the Twins with the 16th pick of the 2025 MLB Draft, becoming Venice High’s highest ever selection.
