Emma Watson is temporarily hitting the brakes on driving. Watson, who is known for her iconic role as Hermione Granger in the " Harry Potter " film franchise, has been banned from driving in the United Kingdom for six months, according to U.K. Press Association.

Emma Watson has been banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding in July 2024, going 38 mph in a 30 mph zone in Oxford, England.

In addition to her driving ban, the British actress was fined £1,044 by High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
