A new PlayStation Plus free game is one of its best yet, however, there is some bad news that comes with its addition.

Cyberpunk 2077' is the newest game to join PlayStation Plus, and it's easily the best RPG available on the service.

After a series of vehicular teases earlier this week, CD Projekt has finally unveiled Cyberpunk 2077 's much-anticipated and mildly delayed 2.3 update, which - among other things - introduces self-driving (but sadly not flying) cars to Night City.

S ony has announced the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog July 2025 additions, revealing highlights for Extra and Premium subscribers that include Cyberpunk 2077, Risk of Rain 2, Planet Zoo, and more.

In a new PlayStation blog post, Sony 's Adam Michel, director of game services content, brings this particular arc full circle. The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for July 2025 includes:

PlayStation Plus members can visit Night City on the house. Years after its botched release, the now-polished Cyberpunk 2077 is now in Sony's Game Catalog. Other July arrivals include the Half-Life-esque Abiotic Factor and the banana republic sim Tropico 6.

An incredibly popular open-world RPG is being added to the PS Plus Game Catalog, which is available for Extra and Premium subscribers.
