“Power Book III: Raising Kanan” star MeKai Curtis will join the cast, reprising his role as Kanan Stark in the new prequel series. Casting for a young Ghost and Tommy, originally played by Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora respectively, is yet to be announced.

A 'Power' spinoff about Ghost and Tommy titled 'Origins' has been ordered at Starz with 18 episodes. MeKai Curtis will reprise his role of Kanan.

It's now been announced that Power: Origins is officially a-go after it was previously rumoured that the series was in development. The new prequel series will dig into the past of Ghost and Tommy, the two lead characters that were originated in the original series by Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora.
