Arkansas Razorbacks men’s basketball coach John Calipari is known for winning national titles, making Final Four runs and developing NBA draft picks.

The LSU Tigers were linked to Oregon State right-handed pitcher James DeCremer III in the NCAA Transfer Portal with Johnson and Co. making a run for his services. The righty appeared in 14 games with three starts for the Beavers in 2025 where he went 3-0 with a 5.65 ERA and striking out 30 batters in 28⅔ innings pitched.

Fellow Arkansas pitcher Landon Beidelschies (Atlanta, 6th round, 187th overall pick), Razorback third baseman Brent Iredale (7th round, 203rd overall selection) and pitcher Ben Bybee (San Francisco, 8th round, 236th pick overall) came off the board soon afterwards.

Arkansas will participate in the SEC Media Days. Sam Pittman, quarterback Taylen Green, defensive tackle Cameron Ball and linebacker Xavian Sorey Jr. are the representatives for the Razorbacks. This will be a chance for reporters to ask questions surrounding the 2025 season.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas continued to make history on the second day of the MLB Draft. After becoming just the second school in MLB Draft history to hear four names called in the first round, five more Hogs are likely to begin their professional careers.

Aidan McCowan, a defensive back from Frisco, Texas, joined the Arkansas Razorbacks as a walk-on in spring 2023 after an open tryout. At 6’0” and 175 pounds, he played two seasons with the team, seeing limited action but making an impact with a pass breakup in Arkansas’s 2024 season-opening win against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Arkansas volleyball will bolster its bench with two familiar faces this season as Hannah Hogue and Courtney Jackson have been brought on to Jason Watson’s staff.
