The Defence Secretary has apologised for the leak and said he was "confident" there was a reduced risk of future data breaches.
The United Kingdom has pledged to resettle 5,000 Afghans in the first year, and another 15,000 at a later point. Canada has pledged to admit an additional 20,000 Afghan refugees .
The last UK evacuation flight for Afghan nationals has left Kabul, said British officials, as the country’s ambassador announced it’s “time to close this phase of the operation.”
