LAS VEGAS — The Celtics lost for the first time in Summer League, falling to the Heat 100-96 on Monday at the Cox Pavilion. The C’s rallied from a double-digit deficit but the Heat made just enough shots down the stretch to secure the victory. Boston dropped to 2-1 in Summer League play.

The Lakers kept it close in the second half but solid play from the Clippers kept them ahead. Jordan Miller led the Clippers with 19 points while three other starters reached double figures. Bronny James played 20 minutes and scored 17 points while adding five assists and five rebounds.

LAS VEGAS -- The Celtics led from start to finish Sunday night and pulled away in the second half for a 94-81 win over the Knicks in Summer League action. The victory improves Boston to 2-0 in Las Vegas, putting them in contention for the championship round halfway through their schedule.
