GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Florida is taking a major step forward in the fight against childhood cancer. Governor Ron DeSantis has announced a $30 million investment to support pediatric cancer research through a new state-funded effort called the Cancer Connect Collaborative Research Incubator.

The commission is responsible for establishing standards for law enforcement agencies and maintaining training programs.
