The Kings didn’t have one of their promising young rookies, but they had enough firepower for the Phoenix Suns.

League is not always a direct indicator of who can shine for a team once the actual season rolls around. Even so, the Sacramento Kings have to be encouraged by what they are seeing from Nique Clifford and Devin Carter.

But with a great move, Scott Perry was able to trade a future protected first-round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder and snag Nique Clifford with the 24th pick of the night, and followed that up with the selection of Maxime Raynaud on night two of the draft.

The Heat didn't re-sign Isaiah Stevens, but that's now opened the door for Stevens and Nique Clifford to team up with the Sacramento Kings.
