The Orioles’ first three picks were Auburn catcher/corner outfielder Ike Irish (No. 19), Coastal Carolina catcher Caden Bodine (No. 30) and Wehiwa Aloy (No. 31). The No. 19 pick was the Orioles’ original first-round selection, while Nos. 30 and 31 were compensation for losing Corbin Burnes and Anthony Santander in free agency.

One season in the Big Ten was all this lefthander needed to prove he has what it takes for the Show. The junior pitcher out of USC was selected by Baltimore with the 184th pick in the sixth round of the MLB Draft.

Another Razorback is off the board. The Baltimore Orioles selected Arkansas baseball shortstop Wehiwa Aloy with the 31st overall pick.
