Bob Vylan has been dropped from a European tour after the controversy caused by their performance at the Glastonbury festival. The British punk-rap duo were accused of anti-Semitism after leading chants of “death, death to the IDF”, referring to the Israeli army, and “free, free Palestine” at this year’s festival.

Rap group Kneecap were "placed in a higher category of risk" than Bob Vylan by the BBC, prior to its coverage of the Glastonbury festival, according to a letter from the corporation's director general Tim Davie to a committee of MPs. The BBC has previously said it should have cut away from a live broadcast of Bob Vylan's performance at Glastonbury.

Bob Vylan attempted to tone down the temperature rising around the group at their first gig since their controversial Glastonbury gig in June.
