India is seeking more favorable rates than Indonesia and the 20% tariff Trump has said he’ll impose on Vietnam, officials in New Delhi said.

Trump sent the U.S. stock market on a jagged round trip after saying he had “talked about the concept of firing” the head of the Federal Reserve.

The statement comes as India and US trade officials hold their fifth round of talks in Washington. Both sides are trying to reach a deal for a new trade agreement between the two countries.
