Veteran big man Al Horford has yet to make a decision on his future, but if he does return for a 2025-26 season, the Golden State Warriors are still viewed as the frontrunners to sign him.

According to NBA insider Marc J. Spears of ESPN, the Golden State Warriors expected Al Horford to sign with them last week.  Horford is an unrestricted free agent.

Al Horford is widely expected to sign with the Golden State Warriors this summer, assuming he doesn't decide to call time on his career. The veteran big man is an unrestricted free agent. The Boston Celtics' current cap situation and the fact that they're retooling while Jayson Tatum recovers from an Achilles tendon tear mean Horford is unlikely to re-sign with the franchise.
