A California professor was shot and killed in Greece by a masked gunman in a shocking execution carried out in broad daylight. Przemyslaw Jeziorski, who was originally from Poland, was fatally shot five times in the chest and neck at close range while visiting Greece for a custody hearing on July 4.

Police in Greece are investigating the murder of University of California Berkeley professor Przemyslaw Jeziorski, who was shot dead on July 4.

Police have arrested the ex-wife of a UC Berkeley professor for allegedly arranging his murder earlier this month in Athens, Greece, according to the victim's family. Przemyslaw Jeziorski, 43, was gunned down outside of his ex-wife's home in what was described at the time as a gang-style killing.
