On Monday at 6:42 p.m. a flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 9 p.m. for Lancaster and York counties.

On Monday at 4:49 p.m. the National Weather Service released an updated flash flood warning in effect until 9 p.m. for Morris and Warren counties.

New Orleans and the surrounding area were placed under a flood advisory Monday afternoon by the National Weather Service as the region dealt with heavy rain that left thousands without power. 6,958 customers were without power in New Orleans, according to Entergy's outage map. The outages were largely in the Uptown/Carrollton areas.

A Flash Flood Watch was issued for much of the NYC area on Monday amid the threat of heavy afternoon and evening thunderstorms ahead of a potential heat wave later this week.
